I had the unique (and anxiety producing) opportunity to use my illustration skills for a public service announcement for Mecklenburg County’s “Breathe Free” initiative. My hand was filmed from above while I drew a dozen “slides” in real time. All of the footage was condensed into a time lapse video and narration was added post production. The published video encouraging a smoke free environment in the park can be viewed at the courthouse and other official county buildings.

All government owned buildings, vehicles and property (grounds) are smoke-free in Mecklenburg County, the City of Charlotte, the CATS transit system and in the towns of Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Matthews, Mint Hill and Pineville.
